The boarding house being an extension of the main school, hosts carefully curated and meaningful activities that resonate with our vision of creating individuals, who imbibe and practice the core values of Indus Altum in all aspects of life. Keeping in mind the importance of building a comprehensive profile for each student we enable our young eagles to prepare for an uncertain future. To achieve that, we have created the ‘school within school’ concept, where our boarders can engage in activities such as theatre, art, music, sports and so much more.
The philosophy of finding a higher purpose in one’s life runs deep at Indus Altum. For the same, we have carefully curated a platform for our boarders to get involved in various community service activities.
The boarding school is their home and the experience is not just about meaningful activities. The boarding and campus staff look for every opportunity to celebrate, be it festivals, an achievement or just an after-dinner cafeteria dance party. Indus Altum house parents are trained to handle any situation as they attend all required professional development workshops in order to enable them to nurture and guide children. They are personally invested in every child and are both firm and flexible. Every house parent aims at motivating students to put their best effort in all their endeavours.
Years of experience have taught us that constant effort is needed to function and scale efficiently. We have cultivated a robust feedback system, where parents can write directly to the Principal in case of an urgent concern. Additionally, House parents have circle times, to ensure that children are happy and in the right mindset, since their mental and spiritual well-being is of paramount importance to us. Boarders can look forward to an entire range of sporting activities like basketball, football, cricket, badminton, table tennis, swimming, and athletics. Other activities include music, dance, cookery, arts & crafts. On weekends, they visit amusement parks, places of historical importance and shopping malls (twice a year).

At Indus Altum Boarding school in Belgaum(Belagavi), we offer both options - Weekly boarding and Term boarding along with residences for the House Parents. There are separate boarding houses for boys and girls. with two room combinations available: room of 4 or a dormitory of 8 students.
Boarders can look forward to an entire range of sporting activities like basketball, football, cricket, badminton, table tennis, swimming, and athletics. At Indus Altum, we have full-time counsellors dedicated towards ensuring the wellbeing of students in all aspects of life, be it career plans or personal challenges. For the holistic growth of students, we support them through our counselling sessions when faced with challenges both academic and personal. We believe that it is important to help students develop socially and overcome their behavioral, physical or mental health challenges in our endeavour to develop leaders of tomorrow.
