Built on the principles of a holistic residential experience for our boarders, the boarding school at Indus Altum International School, Belgaum embodies our values of love, empathy, discipline and respect. Being an extension of the main school, carefully curated and meaningful activities that resonate with the core values of the school go on to create the ‘school within a school’. To achieve this balance, we have provisions for various community service activities as well. Boarders can look forward to an entire range of sporting activities like basketball, football, cricket, badminton, table tennis, swimming, and athletics. Other activities include music, dance, cookery, arts & crafts. On weekends, they visit amusement parks, places of historical importance and shopping malls (twice a year).
The boarding and campus staff look for every opportunity to celebrate, be it festivals, an achievement or just an after-dinner cafeteria dance party. Indus Altum house parents are trained to handle any situation through all required professional development workshops. A robust feedback system, where parents can write directly to the Principal in case of an urgent concern, is a strong pillar of our boarding school ecosystem.
At Indus Altum Boarding school in Belgaum(Belagavi), we offer both options - Weekly boarding and Term boarding along with residences for the House Parents. There are separate boarding houses for boys and girls. with two room combinations available: room of 4 or a dormitory of 8 students.
At Indus Altum, we have full-time counsellors dedicated towards ensuring the wellbeing of students in all aspects of life, be it career plans or personal challenges. For the holistic growth of students, we support them through our counselling sessions when faced with challenges both academic and personal. We believe that it is important to help students develop socially and overcome their behavioral, physical or mental health challenges in our endeavour to develop leaders of tomorrow.
